Learn about, familiarise yourself with and effectively use some of the most popular AI tools in the new JOIST Innovation Park webinar.

The new online workshop is specially designed for students and employees regardless of their field or specialization, in order to understand the possibilities and put into practice work in ChatGPT and its extensions, ChatPDF, Canva, QuillBot, DALL-E and others.

During the training and under the guidance of the Assistant Professors of the Department of Informatics of the Ionian University, Themistocles Exarchos and Aristides Vrachatis, Artificial Intelligence tools that contribute to the improvement of communication, creativity, time-saving, solution-finding and increased performance will be presented and analyzed.

TRAINERS

Themistoklis Exarchos, Assistant Professor

Themistoklis Exarchos is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics of the Ionian University with the subject “Data Modeling and Decision Support Systems”. He graduated from the Department of Computer Engineering & Informatics of the University of Patras. He received his PhD from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina. His research focuses on data modelling and mining, Intelligent Decision Support Systems Development, Big Data Management and Biomedical Informatics.

Aristidis Vrachatis, Assistant Professor

Aristides Vrachatis is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science of the Ionian University with the subject “Artificial Intelligence in Complex Systems Modelling”. He received his PhD in 2016 from the Department of Computer Engineering & Informatics of the University of Patras, where he graduated in 2011 and received his MSc in Computer Science and Technology in 2013. His research focuses on the field of Artificial Intelligence and, more specifically, on Machine Learning for Big Data Mining and Modeling of Complex Systems. His research deals mainly with problems and data in the biomedical sciences.
