Easter is approaching, and with it comes all the smells of spring and traditional Easter dishes, which are very popular with young and old alike. How about making our own moulds for our favourite cookies and Easter eggs that will decorate our home?
We welcome you to join our new interactive and creative educational program on 3D design and printing for children aged 9 to 12 years old. On Tuesday, April 4th, at 6:00 PM, we will be making 3D Easter creations together with little exploration lovers as we embark on a journey to become familiar with 3D design.
Children will design their own 3D cookie moulds for their decorative Easter eggs. They will learn the basic principles of the technology behind 3D printing in a fun way. They will have the opportunity to cultivate their creativity and develop their aesthetic expression and imagination. The mould will be printed on a special 3D printer in the Future Learning Lab at the Innovation Park. The material is suitable for cooking and other play activities, such as clay or plasticine constructions. Due to the time needed to 3D print moulds for all participants, prints will be delivered after the end of the program, upon agreement with the JOIST secretariat and the parents or guardians.
