DESCRIPTION

The event entitled “Smart Cities, AI-based Energy Management – Industry 4.0: Redesigning the future of residential areas using AI and green models” will examine how AI and sustainable technologies are reshaping residential areas.

Bringing together researchers and industry representatives, the event will focus on the transformative role of AI and data-driven solutions for managing land, water and environmental resources. Discussions will focus on harnessing AI to optimise resource management, enhance the sustainability of populated areas and ensure the efficient use of natural resources. The event aims to highlight ground-breaking research, innovative solutions and case studies that demonstrate the potential of AI in promoting smart, sustainable and inclusive societies.

The event includes three themes, each focusing on a key aspect of AI solutions for the future of residential areas. The first thematic module will focus on data and AI-enabled land, water and environmental resource management, presenting strategies to optimise the use of critical resources. The second thematic module will focus on data and AI-assisted energy infrastructure planning, highlighting how AI can lead to efficient and sustainable energy systems to support smart cities. The third thematic module will address data and AI-assisted disaster detection, resilience and recovery, discussing how AI and predictive analytics can enhance resilience to natural disasters and climate change. The event aims to explore how innovative technologies can promote not only smarter, but also more interconnected and resilient communities.
