At JOIST Innovation Labs for Families Summer Edition, children experience Virtual Worlds… Differently!

The rapid development of technology calls for children to be able to evolve and adapt creatively to an ever-changing reality. This creates the need to provide children with new experiences, in new environments, with challenges that support learning but also transform the new experience into new skills, attitudes and mindsets for their own future.

Στα JOIST Innovation Labs for Families, τα παιδιά από 9 έως 15 ετών μαθαίνουν να χρησιμοποιούν τις προηγμένες τεχνολογίες ως νέα μέσα έκφρασης. Μαθαίνουν για την επιστήμη πίσω από αυτές, πειραματίζονται, συνεργάζονται, εμπνέονται και φτιάχνουν δικές τους εφαρμογές.

We invite you to our refreshing educational program consisting of two thematic workshops focused on Virtual Reality:

Experience Lab
Children acquire unique interactive Virtual Reality experiences through selected educational applications in our specially designed and safe space. They learn about the benefits and multiple uses of Virtual Reality in Science and Arts!

Create Lab
Children are familiarised with special software for creating 3D objects and virtual worlds. Step by step, they create their first full Virtual World, which they then enjoy on age-appropriate Virtual Reality devices.
