JOIST invites you to Larissa Seed Bombing! Come make seed bombs and fill our city with colorful wildflowers for the bees.
The seed bombing project is coming to Larissa for the first time! Seed bombs are small balls of clay and soil containing seeds from bee plants, creating the bees’ favourite food, wildflowers. It is the easiest way to bloom wildflowers in gardens, balconies, terraces, schools and all over the city.
JOIST Innovation Park invites you to make seed-bombs together, throw them away and then let the sun, rain and soil do their work. That way, we will fill our city with colourful wildflowers for the bees!
Come with your friends and families to discuss the importance of bees and greenery in the urban landscape and improve the city, turning it into a colourful and lively centre.
The action is implemented by The Bee Camp, the first organization in Greece for the protection of bees. It is an interdisciplinary group of women (artists, educators, agronomists, environmental scientists) to bring people closer to nature and build a better, greener and more participatory world.
The vision of The Bee Camp is to make cities more welcoming to people and pollinators.
