DESCRIPTION
Our young innovators, from 8 to 10 years old, take the reins as little explorers solving the most interesting mysteries with physics experiments in the JOIST Innovation Park.
Communication is an integral part of human nature. Over the centuries, people have tried to communicate with each other in various ways, such as speech, smoke signals, Morse code and the use of glass bottles left in the oceans for someone on the other side of the world to find.
A mystery has enveloped the disappearance of the bottles that never arrived. Although marine explorer Jacques Cousteau had reached the solution to the mystery, he did not have time to reveal it. But he left behind clues. Children, as young explorers of the natural world, are invited to apply their knowledge of physics, solve the puzzles left by Cousteau, collect clues and shed light on the mystery of the missing bottles.
Following the inquiry-based learning model in science teaching, children are asked to design and solve physics problems using simple materials and their imagination. They learn to work in groups by designing experiments and applying the theories of physics to lead to knowledge acquisition and fun. Gaining a basic knowledge of how the world around us works and the physical laws that govern it is a foundation for anyone who wants to understand it and see the beauty it holds.
The Little Innovators Playground summer educational program for children from 8 to 10 years old, starts from Wednesday 21 June 2023. Register using the registration form below.
