JOIST Innovation Park, in collaboration with the Larissa Veterinary Association, celebrates World Animal Day with a series of events dedicated to the harmonious coexistence of animals and humans.

JOIST’s doors are open to the public and our four-legged friends. We invite you to explore together the positive impact that contact with animals has on the physical and mental health of people of all ages, especially in socially vulnerable groups.

On Monday, 3 and Tuesday, 4 October 2022, an informative discussion on “Learning about the natural environment and animals in our city” will be held by the veterinarian, Dr Katerina Loukaki (Veterinarian AUTH, PhD EKPA), for the students of primary schools and kindergartens of Larissa.

On Tuesday 4 October at 18. 00 will be held a round table discussion on “Human activities with the help of animals”, chaired and coordinated by Professor Konstantinos Gourgoulianis. At the same time, at 19:30 of the same day, the party “MAZI” starts, where we will welcome the public for information, discussion and relaxation with drinks and music. At the same time, our four-legged friends will enjoy the delicacies from the DOG BAR set-up, especially for them. DOG BAR is kindly sponsored by Passalis and Virback.
