An award-winning programming system for kids came out of the research labs for the first time and came to JOIST! Play, collaborate and learn to code, with and without a computer, in the new two-day educational workshop for children from 7 to 12 years old.
JOIST is the first to secure a DuckyCode prototype. The DuckyCode multi-tool is the evolution of the CubesCoding and RoboTiles systems. It includes intelligent and friendly robots that children can program with magnetic commands in graphical environments using computers and mobile devices. Thus, the programming journey begins for children through an interactive game with friends.
The children will first model the robots in order to familiarise themselves with them and then get to know their capabilities. The next step involves programming with magnetic commands, graphical interfaces and mobile devices.
