DESCRIPTION

School bullying: this is one of the most powerful problems found in schools worldwide, with particularly negative consequences for the mental and physical safety of students. What are the dimensions and forms of bullying? How much do teachers and parents know about this phenomenon? Is there a specific institutional framework for identifying and dealing with this issue? Is there scope within this framework for prevention, action and reaction to bullying incidents? What is the role of technology in the development of bullying? How well informed are the education stakeholders in order to identify and deal with bullying and violence?

The above questions are just some of the questions that will seek answers, suggestions, solutions and pathways to an issue that needs special attention for the health and safety of students. New technologies and the digital transformation of the educational sector create new conditions and new data in education, which significantly affects the evolution of the phenomenon of school violence in its physical and digital form.

The event is co-organized by JOIST Innovation Park and the Secondary Education Directorate of Larissa, with the main objective of informing and developing creative and productive dialogue.
