Wine & Chat #3: The Role of Women Today – Attitudes, Perceptions, Challenges & Perspectives

The event turned institution returns in force at JOIST Innovation Park. Wine & Chat #3 offers once again an important platform for dialogue and discussion to its audience of women, with the central theme of the multidimensional role of women in modern societies. Although several steps forward have been taken in recent decades regarding the position of women in society, it remains unequal, and it is generally accepted that the role of women remains particularly challenging.

What percentage of women hold positions of responsibility within organisations? How frequently is the presence of women in political decision-making structures, and how much is it supported? How common is gender-based violence in all sectors of the economy and society? What are the primary interventions of the state towards the empowerment of women’s action? How do women’s networks support women’s initiatives?

Women, representatives of networks for the empowerment of women’s entrepreneurship and work, and support and promotion of women’s action will present relevant information to the public to motivate and inspire them. At the same time, women with different backgrounds will share their journey, experiences and thoughts that will fuel interactions and fruitful dialogue.

At the end of the presentations and discussions, there will be time for meeting, networking and discussion between the participants with the accompaniment of wine, courtesy of the bar “Lolita”.
