DESCRIPTION

The event that has become a tradition is returning energetically to JOIST Innovation Park. Wine & Chat #4 once again offers a significant platform for dialogue and discussion with the central theme: “Women, Culture, and Arts: A New Creative Economy?” Contemporary women are creating, expressing themselves through art, “opening” new artistic pathways, and leading in culture.

Has art history been primarily “written” by male artists? And if this is the case, could we have lost the talented female artists who were once part of art history? What is the role of modern women in reshaping and evolving the arts? Can leadership in culture be female? How can women in the arts harness their leadership to reshape the narrative of artistic and cultural economy?

Art and culture unquestionably do not acknowledge or accept distinctions. However, they can serve as a powerful platform for expression, professional engagement, and the promotion of women, altering previous stereotypes. Female leadership in culture and the intense artistic activity of women could highlight a new economy: one where creativity plays a crucial role in its evolution.

Women, representatives of cultural organizations, female artists, professionals in the arts, and networks supporting women’s actions will present relevant information to inspire and motivate the audience. At the end of the presentations and discussions, there will be time for networking and discussion with the participants, accompanied by wine.

Target Groups:

  • Representatives of cultural organizations (public and private)
  • Art professionals
  • Networks supporting women’s actions
  • Women entrepreneurs
  • Women, having a leading role within the industry of culture
  • Students
