THE AIM
HERFUND’s aim is to reduce the innovation divide in Europe by strengthening and expanding cooperation between founders and investors across different European regions while supporting a more inclusive and gender-equal innovation ecosystem.
PROJECT ACTIVITIES
Activity 1: Develop Innovation Valleys
Transform less connected territories into recognized and attractive innovation valleys that pool and reward investments.
Activity 2: Build Bridges Between EU Innovation Ecosystems
Create connections between EU innovation ecosystems to increase access to capital and investment in less connected areas, enabling local start-ups to benefit from foreign investments.
Activity 3: Increase Gender-Conscious Investment
Raise the number of gender-conscious investors in Europe to support women-led companies.
Activity 4: Boost Women Entrepreneurship
Enhance women entrepreneurship, especially in Moderate and Emerging Innovator regions, by providing more funding opportunities.
