Wine Tasting Evening with Stavrakis Winery

A unique -tasty, and atmospheric- evening will be hosted at JOIST Innovation Park on Wednesday, 20 December. Stavraki Winery, with a history of 160 years, will present unique varieties of wine to the public through a retrospective of its history. Over the years, the aim of the winery is the utilization of local grape varieties, such as Muscat Mavro Tirnavos and international varieties.

Wine lovers and all those who want to be introduced to the world of wine will have the opportunity to taste every variety of the winery: Coral white wine, coral, rosé and coral red, as well as dry white and red wines, will all be available to the participants. At the same time, the participants of the wine-tasting evening will receive information on how each variety of wine is produced from the winemaker, Mr. Theodoro Stavraki. It is an attractive combination of taste and knowledge in a very Christmassy atmosphere!

The Christmas ornament of the Stavraki Winery could not be missing from the evening. With a shelf life of one month every year, from 15 December to 15 January, Stavraki Winery offers the public a unique rosé sparkling wine with edible gold leaves, which “play” in every reflection of light!
