Joist Innovation Park will be in Patras on Friday 12 April 2024to participate in the 3rd Career Day of Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) of the University of Peloponnese (PA.PEL). The ECE Career Day aims to connect students and graduates with the job market and broaden their horizons about future career and entrepreneurship prospects.
ECE Career Day - What it Inolves
In the3rd Career Day ECE 2024, JOIST will participate together with other companies with a significant role in the fields of technology, energy, consulting and human resources management. Each company will welcome students for discussion and short interviews for open jobs at the unique company booths in the space.
The event will also feature prominent speakers who will share with the audience information and advice on planning a career path, such as:
- steps and procedures towards job search and selection
- opportunities to practice and develop a strong skillset for a professional future with a European perspective
- mapping the employability of electrical and computer engineers and the necessary soft skills
- directions towards the path of entrepreneurship
In addition, members of the Industrial Council of ECE and students/graduates with internships or work experience in large companies will participate in interesting panels, sharing their knowledge and advice from the industrial—corporate environment.
The event will take place at the Main Amphitheatre of the campus in Koukouli.
