JOIST Innovation Park is launching a new partnership with Sandyford Business District, one of Ireland’s leading business ecosystems. The collaboration aims to support Irish businesses in adopting new technologies, facilitate knowledge transfer and make use of JOIST’s innovation services.
The foundations of the partnership were laid by Tasos Vasileiadis, Founder and CEO of JOIST, and Ger Corbett, CEO of Sandyford Business District, through meetings held during the International Innovation Summit 2026 in Dublin.
This new collaboration expands JOIST’s international activity and creates another opportunity to apply the expertise it has developed in business support, digital transformation and the development of innovation ecosystems.
About Sandyford Business District
Based in Dublin, Sandyford Business District is one of Ireland’s leading business hubs, with an ecosystem of around 1,000 businesses and 26,000 employees. It includes both Irish and international companies operating across sectors such as technology, financial services and life sciences.

The Innovation Campus at the Heart of the Partnership
A central focus of the collaboration is JOIST’s expected contribution to the creation and development of Sandyford Business District’s Innovation Campus.
The Innovation Campus aims to provide startups, SMEs, larger companies, scale-ups, investors and research organisations with a collaborative environment, as well as access to infrastructure, resources, specialised support and new business opportunities.
This direction is closely aligned with JOIST’s expertise in connecting business and research ecosystems to support knowledge exchange and innovation. In this context, JOIST can support Sandyford Business District across key areas including:
- the Campus operating model
- the design of services for businesses
- the activation of the innovation community
- the development of partnerships with organisations, companies and research institutions
The Partnership in the Context of the International Innovation Summit 2026
The International Innovation Summit 2026, organised by Sandyford Business District in Dublin on 13 and 14 October, played an important role in the development of the partnership.

Tasos Vasileiadis participated in the event as a speaker in a session focused on competitiveness and national innovation models, strengthening JOIST’s international presence and its connection with a wider European business innovation network.
The Summit brought together business leaders, investors, academics, entrepreneurs and public-sector representatives. Discussions highlighted key issues around competitiveness, investment and the development of innovation ecosystems.
The venue itself was also significant, as the Summit took place in the building proposed to house the Innovation Campus. Participants had the opportunity to see the space first-hand and explore its potential for future development.
JOIST Expertise in the International Business Ecosystem
The partnership with Sandyford Business District marks another important step in JOIST’s international expansion. Over recent years, the Park has developed services and methodologies that address a wide range of business and technology development needs, from digital transformation and Innovation Management to connecting businesses with technology providers, developing skills and creating partnerships within organised ecosystems.
Applying this experience in a business hub such as Sandyford creates new opportunities to transfer expertise from Greece to international markets and to develop collaboration models that can be adapted to different business environments. At the same time, the partnership opens the way for closer links between the Greek innovation ecosystem and businesses, organisations and networks in Ireland.
The next steps will focus on defining the areas of collaboration, shaping the plan for the Innovation Campus and designing the services that will be developed around it.
