One month after the devastating consequences of storm Daniel, which hit the region of Thessaly and parts of Central Greece, the organizers of the InnoHealth Forum proceeded with fulfilling their promise to help those affected by the floods. Specifically, in the context of the organization of the two-day hybrid exhibition InnoHealth Forum, it was decided by the organizers to allocate 10% of the proceeds of the event to support the affected people of Thessaly to cover basic needs in medicines and health care.
The organizers of the InnoHealth Forum deposited the donation on the dedicated Relief Fund, which was created by the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, activating the framework of state aid to support areas affected by the recent floods.
This action by JOIST Innovation Park and the European Digital Innovation Hub Health Hub comes naturally as an act of support to the affected households that are still trying to recover. With absolute empathy for the gravity of the situation and the difficulties still faced by a large number of citizens of Thessaly, the organizers are fully supportive of any action that contributes to the relief and rehabilitation of those affected.
